Papular Urticaria Treatment. Find out more at besturticariacure. Papular urticaria is a common and often annoying disorder manifested by chronic or papules caused by a hypersensitivity reaction to the bites of mosquitoes or insects. Individual papules may surround a wheal and display a central punctum. Papular Urticaria tends to be evident during spring and summer months. The key is that a few bites cause a general eruption of all the old bite sites.

My tiny woodstove for my tiny cabin

I'm very happy to report that I did find a small wood stove for my small cabin. It's been tricky to find, I've been looking at the classifieds in the area for a while, but they are tricky to find. Anything bigger than this thing would heat me out of my cabin If anybody knows anything about this stove, that would be great. It says that it's an Inventa It's a very tiny stove. It's about two and a half feet tall and nine inches around. It's top loading, so the lid comes off here.

This comes off and the wood goes in here. It has a wood flu. So here you've got heat heet I don't know what language this is. Matig which is a half flu and then closed flu, which is Zacht If anyone knows what language that is, let me know. You can also load small pieces of wood in here and apparently this is where you would build your your little prefire to warm up the stove. Here is where you would build your fire. The people who had this before me.

Jump Rope Science Fun

So today I am going to talk about how you might improve the jump rope and the first question it comes to mind is well what's wrong with a jump rope And I'm going to tell you two reasons why the jump rope has room for improvement. The first reason is that there is a narrow width at the bottom. As you can see on my feet are there's just not a lot of room between my feet and the rope and this means there's a great chance that the rope might get.

Snagged on my feet if it moves left or right. And the solution to this is really a problem. You see the solution is I'd just have to jump higher. That gives me more room for my feet. But when I jump higher that means I have to work harder. That makes jump roping a little bit less fun. So I wonder if i could change the jump rope's shape. Would there be an easy way to just maybe it may be flattered at the bottom That would be awesome. Here's one way to do that.

One way to change the shape of a jump rope is to simply add weights. So with no weights it looks a lot like a V, but with weights it starts to look like a U or even a box shape. And so I wanted to know how effective is this How effective is adding just little tiny weights that have a force that changes the shape of a jump rope So I decided to test it. So here's me jumping in slow motion without weights. What you notice is that it's.

Very much a V shape that comes very close to my feet. And so you can try to memorize what that looks like very quickly. This is with weights, just little tiny weights that are so small you can't even see them but there's some washers there. And you can see me jumping and you notice that it's a fundamentally different shape. These are just ten little washers on each side. and it made a huge difference in the shape of the jump rope. That's pretty awesome. Here they are blown up. So this is before, this is after, and if you look at it.

You can fundamentally see that the left hand side would be a lot harder to jump rope than the right hand side which is a lot more room for error for example I would encourage you to try this at home. Maybe if you get a super long jope rope that you like to jump rope with a lot of people, may be you can fit even more people by flattening out the bottom. And I don't recommend metal washers, although those were good for testing. Try using something soft maybe beanbags or something elseyou can use.

DermTV How to Treat Insect Bites DermTV Epi 209

Music Hello, I'm Dr. Neal Schultz pause and welcome to DermTV. A few weeks ago I discussed how to apply insect repellent so you could get the maximum protection against insect bites but the reality is, whether you're using insect repellent or not some people are going to get insect bites. So what's the best way to treat them Well the only reason we really need to treat insect bites is because they itch and when we itch we scratch and that's the problem. Scratching causes three different issues. The first.

Problem with scratching is that while it sure feels good and helps to stop the uncomfortable itching it actually causes more itching. You get a rebound flare of the itching, so you're sort of getting into an itch scratch cycle. The more you itch the more you scratch, the more you scratch the more you itch. Secondly, scratching insect bites can actually cause dark staining of the skin, just the way picking pimples can cause a dark staining and those dark stains are very difficult to treat. And third and perhaps most important, scratching can cause infections in your skin and.

Obviously that's something we'd like to avoid. So the best way to treat insect bites is first of all, with an oral, nonsedating, antihistamine. You can get Allegra by prescription or Claritin over the counter without a prescription. Second, we want to use mentholated lotions or creams to help stop the itching. When menthol touches our skin it causes a cooling sensation and that cooling sensation erases the itching and it feels much better. If you're at home you can take an icecube and touch it with an icecube. Ice will stop the itching without causing any increase in.

DermTV Itchy Bumpy Red Skin Chicken Skin Or Keratosis Pilaris DermTV Epi 161

Music Hello, I'm Dr. Neal Schultz pause and welcome to DermTV. If I told you that I'm going to help you understand and treat your keratosis pilaris, you'd say, What's he talking about But if I told you that's a fancy medical term for chicken skin, which is that rough, itchy skin that occurs on the top and outer parts of some people's arms and also on the front of their thighs, then it might ring a bell. It's particularly common in teenagers and young adults, and it itches but, more importantly,.

It looks really funny, because you have all these little white studded bumps on your skin with pink skin in between. It's not dangerous but It certainly looks funny and doesn't feel good. This is another situation where exfoliants to the rescue, because these hard little bumps represent overgrowths of dead cells on the top of the hair follicle. All you have to do is literally dissolve them away with a chemical exfoliant, whichever one you use for your face, you can use on your arms wherever you have your chicken skin, and use it twice a day, and it will result over a period of.
