DermTV How to Treat Under Breast Rashes Infections DermTV Epi 190
Music Hello, I'm Dr. Neal Schultz pause and welcome to DermTV. Rashes under the breast tend to occur if the skin of the lower part of the breast lies flat against the skin below the breast. That tends to happen at a certain time in life whether it's from age, gravity, from having had children or just from the way that you're built. Whether you know it or not, your skin perspires all the time but when skin lies flat against another layer of skin that perspiration or sweat can't evaporate and.
Moisture accumulates. When moisture accumulates in closed areas, like skin against skin, it promotes the growth of bacteria and other germs and that creates odors and that can lead to infections. The most common infections that occur in this context, on the under part of the breast, are yeast infections and bacterial infections. To help prevent this, very simply, after you shower treat this area with the same antiperspirant that you use under your arms. If that's not effective at sufficiently decreasing the sweating, then take a thin piece of cotton material and place that thin.
Piece of material under and in the fold below the breast on both sides to help absorb moisture. If you actually do develop a rash below your breast usually it manifests as itchy little red bumps with some oozing. Usually this is very uncomfortable. It's probably a yeast infection and the best way to treat it is with milk and water compresses and the instructions, for those is discussed in DermTV Episode 15. In addition, over the counter Mikonazol lotion applied very lightly two or three times a day, will often.

Is Bee Pollen Good on Candida Diet
Greetings. Eric Bakker, naturopath from New Zealand, author of Candida Crusher and formulator of the Canxida range of products. Question today I got from somebody in the States is Is bee pollen good against Candida Being a beekeeper myself, I love bee pollen. It's a fantastic food. You can put these things called pollen traps on your beehive. Pollen traps are quite interesting because when the bee goes for these tiny little holes, it scrapes its back legs and the little pollen bags drop off. I think it's cruel to collect bee pollen.
Because I think that bee pollen actually belongs inside the beehive. It's actually good food for the bees and especially for the baby bees to eat. However, it is a very good dietary supplement to take. Some people can react to bee pollen. I've had a few patients come back and report their blood pressure elevated after taking it. It doesn't contain honey, so it is safe to take when you've got a yeast infection. So don't confuse bee pollen and honey. It is an incredibly powerful building food, bee pollen, because.
It contains so much goodness from plants. It's got all the B vitamins in it. It's got copper in it. It's got zinc in it. It's got biotin in it. It's got many different kinds of minerals in it, including magnesium and calcium. There is a lot of potassium in it. It is almost like a kind of super food to eat. Research is interesting showing that people who live some of the longest life spans have been beekeepers. They sell off all of their honey to people, but then they keep the rubbish.
Left for themselves, which often includes bits of beeswax and pollen in it. Many people in different parts of the world who live to 100 have been beekeepers. There is a bit of hope for me yet. Do I recommend bee pollen for killing Candida or is it antifungal No. I don't. I do recommend it as a boost for your health. I can see no harm in taking bee pollen. It's excellent for your health, but I don't really believe it is going to kill the fungus itself. It's not anti. It's a good health builder, but.
It's not an antifungal. It has shown to have some limited antibacterial qualities, but it has not really shown to be a strong antifungal in its own right. Do I endorse bee pollen capsules I do. I think they're a great product to take, but I think you could probably do a lot better if you've got a yeast infection than spending your money on bee pollen supplements. But they are a good adjunct to overall good health. That's my take on bee pollen and yeast infection. Thanks for tuning in. Be sure to subscribe.
Why Did I Get Candida Overgrowth I Have Clean Diet
I've got a frequently asked question for a guy here in California. How do you get Candida Well, you don't get Candida. You develop Candida. It's basically a yeast infection, and you develop it because there's an imbalance in your life. Your lifestyle or your diet has become unbalanced. When an imbalance has occurred like this, you're susceptibility increases and your resistance drops down. The scales get tipped against you and you're more likely to pick up a yeast infection. Yeast, molds, fungi, bacterial, parasites, they live around us all the time. We can't.
Escape these sort of things. No matter where we live in the world, we're always going to have bacteria in our life, so you can't avoid these. I find it quite hilarious these commercials on TV where everything is so sanitized and clean. The lady is always wiping the child's hands down. It's these clean sort of lifestyle, ultraclean lifestyles, that can make us more susceptible to infection because they weaken our immune system. It's not a good idea to keep people ultraclean. They can't build resistance against a lot of bacteria.
How do you get an infection Well, we're going to talk a little bit about that in other tutorials, but getting Candida is because the scales are tipped against you. You're staying out too late. Eating the wrong kind of food. Stressing out too much. Poor immunity. Antibiotics is one of the prime ways people get Candida. Junk foods. Soda drinks. Chocolate. Too much alcohol, all these sorts of things. Many of these dietary habits and lifestyle habits come about because of stressful lifestyles that we lead. Many of us lead ridiculous lifestyle.
These days, very artificial lifestyles. A lot of it generated around the technology that we have. Many people need what we call a digital detox these days to get away from their mobile phone or their tablet or their computer. Staying up too late is a classic example and social media. This are ways that we increase our susceptibility and reduce our resistance. This is exactly how we get Candida by living weird lifestyles. If you've got this yeast infection and you seriously want to get rid of it, you need.
To look at getting things back in balance again and powering the immune system reducing adrenal stress, in particular. Many of my patients with Candida have got adrenal fatigue or thyroid malfunction. They have some sort of hormonal imbalance that could be estrogen dominant. There could be hypothyroid. They could be hypoadrenal. I very commonly see this with lots of people with serious yeast infection. They never address the underlying stress mechanisms, so they maintain this Candida and all they're trying to do is take antifungals all the time that are a waste of time.
DermTV Preventing and Treating Foot Fungus DermTV Epi 268
Music Hello, I'm Dr. Neal Schultz pause and welcome to DermTV. When people find out that they have a fungus infection on the bottom of their feet they act very surprised and shocked because they equate fungus infections, and especially on the bottom of the feet, with being dirty or not being clean and they insist that they have good hygiene and that they are clean. Well, the reality is that fungus infections on the bottom of the feet have nothing to do with how clean you are or your routines of hygiene.
And as a matter of fact, they're just a normal part of life and you can even consider them part of the food chain in this case, the fungus is the predator and you are the food. Consider these facts. Fungi are everywhere. They're in your house. They're in my house. They're in your office. They're in my office. They're everywhere. Fungi thrive on dead skin they do very well nutritionally when they eat dead skin. The bottom of your feet have a lot of dead skin. Fungi thrive in wet, moist, environments. When your feet.
Sweat, that's a wet, moist environment. Add all those facts up and it's not surprising that sweaty feet are an ideal environment and nutrient atmosphere for fungi to grow, thrive and infect. And that's why almost half of all adults have fungus infections on the bottom of their feet. So this is what you can do to try to decrease the chance of having a fungus infection on the bottom of your foot. First of all, exfoliate the bottom of your feet every day. Exfoliation removes dead skin. If there's less dead.
Skin, there's less nutrient material for the fungus to grow on. Powder your shoes or your socks every day to help absorb moisture to decrease the wetness in your shoes. If you sweat a lot, carry two or three extra changes of socks or stockings with you, again, to try to keep things dry. And try to avoid wearing footwear that makes you sweat a lot, like sneakers and boots. This is the bottom line, if you see flaking on the bottom of your feet or if you see little white scales or little white lines in the creases.
